Come celebrate the Winter Solstice at Lantern with an amazing lineup of special beer choices reflecting the culmination of darkness and a return to lighter days.

To represent the darker side of this season we'll offer a vertical tasting of 4 years of our dark and complex Abbey style Quadrupel: Sombre 2015, 2016, 2017, and our newly-released Sombre 2018, aged in oak wine and spirits barrels.

To celebrate a return to the light, we'll have a trio of our sunny Abbey style Tripels: our standard-bearer Tripel, our Orondo Furioso barrel-aged Tripel with apricots, and our fan favorite Cavalcade, an apple-brandy barrel aged Tripel.

There will be special tasting flights offered on these seven special ales, and regular (half) pours available as well. Due to very limited quantities, growler fills will not be available on the Sombres, Orondo Furioso, or Cavalcade.

This will be a special and memorable night of tasting extraordinary beer, offered only once a year. Please join us if you're able; please also note that these specials are heavyweight choices, so as always ensure you've got a DD/Lyft/Uber/walk home plan.
